INOX COLOR - transforming surfaces
The art of transforming stainless steel
Stainless steel is more than just a material. It is an expression of precision, durability, and creative power. But it is only through transformation that it becomes a design element—a medium for light, space, and atmosphere.
INOX COLOR specializes in the refinement and transformation of stainless steel surfaces.
We combine technical perfection with aesthetic intelligence – and use this to create surfaces that harmonize architecture, design, and functionality.
Our claim, transforming surfaces, describes not only what we do, but also how we think:
We understand surfaces as an interface between idea and material, between vision and realization.

transformation parameters — the language of surfaces
Every surface tells a story. Its texture, its shine, its color — these determine how we perceive an object.
At INOX COLOR, we define these properties in a targeted manner. We control them, combine them, and use them to create individual, project-specific surface solutions.
Our transformation parameters are the design elements we use to refine stainless steel—and make emotion, function, and identity visible.
Matte <> Gloss: From subtle satin to mirror finish.
From gently shimmering to mirror-polished: We regulate reflections so precisely that surfaces scatter or concentrate light in a targeted manner.
Matte surfaces convey calm and understatement – shiny accents create depth, dynamism, and value.
Light diffusion <> Reflection: Surfaces that scatter or focus light – for drama or tranquility.
Light is the most important design element in architecture.
We develop surfaces that absorb or reflect light, depending on the desired effect in the room. This creates a visual balance between clarity and atmosphere – ideal for facades, interiors, or objects with light effects.
Color & intensity: Metallic, deep, iridescent. Without paint. Without limits.
Color without color: Our electrochemical coloring is based on interference – not on paint, pigment, or coating.
This creates durable, UV-stable colors with metallic brilliance – from white gold to cobalt blue.
Every color remains authentic, durable, and precisely reproducible.

Texture & feel: Visible. Tangible. Precisely manufactured.
Surfaces you want to feel: we combine different grinding, brushing, and polishing techniques to create textures that are visually and haptically appealing.
From silky-fine to expressive and striking – every structure contributes to the overall effect of the material.
Structure <> Frugality: From ornate to minimalist – expression through surface.
Depending on the architectural concept, stainless steel can radiate expressive depth or visual calm.
We design both – ornamental, linear, minimalist, or homogeneous.
The result: surfaces with characterful expression and clear architectural language.
Combination competence – the inoxATELIER
Our greatest strength lies in our ability to combine parameters.
At inoxATELIER, mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical processes give rise to new surface compositions – tailored to function, design, and budget.
Here, craftsmanship, science, and design merge to create a new material aesthetic.
Mechanical processes
Grinding, brushing, vibratory or cross grinding, bead blasting, polishing, or pattern rolling—each process changes the degree of gloss, direction, and texture.
Functional options such as anti-fingerprint, Easy2Clean, slip resistance, or anti-graffiti complement the aesthetic spectrum.
The result: stainless steel with character, expression, and technical precision.
Electrochemical processes
Electropolishing refines the microstructure and creates extreme smoothness and reflection.
Interference coloring (inoxSPECTRAL) produces permanent metallic colors—without pigments or paint.
This results in brilliant, durable surfaces that meet the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
Coloring processes
Our coloring technologies stand for precision, diversity, and durability:
- inoxSPECTRAL – electrochemical coloring through light interference
- inoxPLASMA – vacuum vapor deposition with titanium nitrides for brilliant, highly resistant colors
- inoxTONE – proprietary process for gold and champagne tones
Colors ranging from natural white to nickel, bronze, gold, red gold, and cobalt blue – all metallic, UV-stable, and recyclable.

The Atelier of Transformation – the inoxATELIER
The inoxATELIER is the creative heart of INOX COLOR.
This is where we develop customized solutions tailored to the requirements of architecture, design, and industry.
We experiment with parameters, develop new combinations, and create prototypes that later go into series production.
Our customers appreciate this collaborative process:
open, interdisciplinary, precise – with a clear goal: the perfect surface for every project.
At inoxATELIER, ideas become materials.
Technical processes give rise to design.
Stainless steel becomes identity.
Do you have a vision?
We translate it into a surface.
Inspiration in metal – references and applications
Architecture thrives on surfaces.
They define space, light, atmosphere, and value.
Our surfaces can be found in iconic projects worldwide – on facades, ceilings, walls in interiors, boutiques, furniture, lighting, and trade fair architecture.
Every project demonstrates that stainless steel is not a cold material, but rather a medium for emotion, elegance, and durability.
Sustainability by Design
Sustainability is not a trend, but part of our DNA.
Our processes conserve resources, generate little waste, and all our products are fully recyclable. We work with stainless steel sourced in Europe, which has a recycled content of up to 94%. These properties, combined with the durability of stainless steel, make our products truly sustainable.
Calculating the life cycle of our products makes them particularly economical, even if the initial costs are higher than other materials. Low maintenance and a life expectancy of over 200 years require only a one-time investment, with no replacement or follow-up investments or costly maintenance.
Interference coloring is achieved without paints or pigments—it is based on light and physics and the natural protective layer of stainless steel. This means: no microplastics, no heavy metal abrasion, no environmental impact, no color change, and that for decades.
A material that impresses both technically and ecologically.
