The Silvretta Therme Ischgl wears a facade that refuses to shine. Instead of a mirror envelope, specialist sheet fabricator V-MET installed shingle cladding in 0.5 millimetre stainless steel from ROOFINOX, ultra-matt and glare-free. INOX COLOR supplied the tone: a restrained champagne created electrochemically with inoxSPECTRAL®, without paint and without pigments. Coloured stainless steel finished this way does not fade and cannot flake, which matters at 1,700 metres. Designed by Krieger Architekten and Wimreiter & Partner, the metal facade cladding follows the curved building envelope and changes its character with every season.
